የኤፍሬም ስዩም የሥነ ግጥም ድግስ | Addis Neger

For those of us who were so far limited to hailing, and sailing solely on none-Ethiopian celebrities of literature and poesy, I feel that Ephrem Seyoum, for sure, the would-be Ethiopian laureate of literature from the new generation is beginning to become a treasure, introducing us to the beauty of our own roots; - not only Ethiopian but an African intellectual treasure too! - A beautiful mind. How tedious and boring would nature be without such beautiful minds of humanity! – As far as I am concerned, I somehow feel rather pale that, this beautiful Mind came to my attention -"out of the blues", just only a few weeks ago, (via Luzyzare.com). Nonetheless, Thanks for the “back to the roots”!
Infatuated through his works, a vibrating poesy of music, colorful sound, word, tone and content - the ቅኔ/"qine" – yes ቆንጆ ወይን /“qonjo wein", interacting in an articulated air of harmony, I just humanly felt obliged to do some promotion via this blog– http://berhane-hiywot.blogspot.com/


And sorry for that - without your permission- Dearer Ephrem! I will now get hold of your published works! The least one can do to encourage the development of our indigenous intellectuality.

ኤፍሬም ስዩም በ1998 “ሶሊያና” የተሰኘው የግጥም ሲዲው ለገበያ አቅርቧል። ሶሊያና የግጥም ሲዲ እስከ አሁን ለ3 ጊዜያት ያህል ታትሟል፡፡ በ3ተኛው ሕትመት ላይ ገጣሚው “ማንዴላ” የሚለውን ግጥም ጨምሯል፡፡ የኤፍሬም ሥራዎች በተለያዩ ድረ ገጾች ላይ ታትመው ለአንባቢ ቀርበዋል። እንደ እሳቱ ”ሰ” አይነቶቹም በብዙዎቹ ዘንድ ተወደዋል።

እሳቱ “ሰ”
ከየኔታ እግር ሥር
ፊደል ስንቆጥር
ያለማወቅ ነገር . . .
ሁለት ‘ሠ’ መለየት ልጅነቴን ከብዷት
ንጉሱን እሳት ስል
ንጉሱ በል ሲሉኝ
እሳቱን ንጉሥ ስል
እሳቱ በል ሲሉኝ
ንጉሡና እሳቱ ባንድ ተደባልቀው
ሕፃን አእምሮዬን አስጨንቀው ይዘው
ባንድነት አደጉ ከአንድ ህዋስ መሽገው፡፡
ይኸው በጉብዝናም በፈቃድ ስኅተት
ትርጓሜው አይለይም አንድ ነው በማለት
እጽፋለሁ ጽሕፈት
እስታለሁ ስኅተት
እሣት ስባል ንጉስ ንጉስ ስባል እሣት፡፡
